Bangkok, April 2025 – Three intensive days at the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) Congress 2025 in Bangkok have come to an end for SOT Medical Systems – and they could hardly have been more successful.
With over 250 vascular screenings performed, countless expert conversations, and strong international interest in early vascular diagnostics for diabetes care, the company’s presence at Booth B33 proved to be a resounding success. Notably, five individuals were identified with concerning results that require further medical evaluation – a direct, on-the-spot contribution to the prevention of diabetes-related complications.
“The response to our solutions was overwhelming,” said Miguel Marhl, COO of SOT Medical Systems. “We were able to clearly demonstrate that vascular diagnostics today can be fast, delegable, and reliable – without compromising patient comfort.”
The spotlight was particularly on vascular screenings in under one minute, enabling the early detection of circulatory disorders in at-risk patients. With systems like the AngE™ ABI+ and the AI-supported Vascular Health Score, SOT offers user-friendly solutions that integrate seamlessly into everyday clinical workflows.
Once again, IDF 2025 highlighted a key message: Early detection saves lives – and SOT Medical Systems is committed to driving that mission forward globally.
Following the congress, SOT Medical Systems had the honor of presenting its solutions at several renowned institutions, including Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong, Al Qassimi Hospital near Dubai, Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi, and multiple leading hospitals in Riyadh, such as King Khalid University Hospital, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, and Habib Hospital.
“We are honored to contribute to improving vascular diagnostics in each of these institutions – always met with outstanding hospitality,” added Marhl.
